Why natural Holi colours?
Did you know that until less than a hundred years ago, people borrowed colours only from nature to play Holi?!
People collected flowers that bloom in the beginning of Spring - such as Palash - the original flower of Holi💛 It is said that Lord Krishna played Holi with the sacred Palash / Tesu / Kesudo flowers!
Using edible ingredients and local flowers, you can make your very own colours at home. Kids and adults alike love the process and the soothing colours that emerge.

Naturally Holi © was created by Manya Cherabuddi, Indian artist and natural dyer, to share the joy of natural colours and celebrate the festival of Holi in a people and planet friendly way!
Manya has taught 4000+ people about natural dyes and natural colours, including school children, fashion designers, design students, researchers and artisans.
She undertakes new colour research and enjoys experimenting with new materials and techniques.
Under her brand Treehouse, Manya makes naturally dyed textiles, accessories, baby wear and personalized, handcrafted gifts.
Manya was selected to exhibit her work at Maker Faire 2019, the biggest maker event in India, a showcase of makers and inventors from across the country.
